Things have been quite hectic here. I have been doing lots of histological preparations amidst running some field experiments whenever possible and amidst all this I am packing up to move to a new house.

Here is a recent image from one of the sections I got of a queen bullant, Myrmecia pyriformis. For an ant, they have an outrageously large brain and, not surprisingly, very well developed optic lobes.
